There are several ways that the Amity Fire District works to enhance fire safety through prevention. Some of the ways that we do this is through community education at our annual open house, school visits to talk about fire safety to the children, driveway inspections to insure adequate access. Building inspections to insure that the fire code is being met. And much more.
